Here are the four Amigos (as you can see, Kelly is expecting as well)
I made the centerpiece for the shower. They wanted to have cupcakes at the shower so they asked me to make a "fake cake" that could be used as a centerpiece. I was pretty proud of this one as it was the biggest cake I have made!

Here I am with these lovely ladies...
I previously wrote about the sewing lesson that my friend Brooke gave me the Wednesday before the shower. After learning, I quickly turned into a sewing fool every waking minute. Between working, sewing, make petit fours, attending Blake and Rebecca's shower, implementing a 5K race, sushi-making class with Adam, decorating the centerpiece, and helping with Hope's shower, I was absolutely exhausted. I knew that I wanted to give handmade gifts at the shower and I had a quick deadline. Everything seemed to work out but I have a feeling I will look back on that weekend and think "I could never do all of that again!"

Here is Hope opening the gifts I made...
So this is Nivette Harmon (well, Connors now) from high school. Sometimes I blog hop and I found yours through a link on Facebook with cute pictures of your new nephew. I am sure his mom just loved all your handmade stuff! You're doing pretty good if you just had lessons :) I make baby stuff for craft fairs and such, and these types of things are seriously the most fun to make. Not to mention being incredibly cute! Keep up the great work :)
