Community Options provides housing, support services, and advocacy assistance to help empower people with disabilities. They develop residential and employment supports for people with severe disabilities. They believe that there are four values critical to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families successfully: individual choice; customer satisfaction; person-centered planning; and economic empowerment.Adam and I went to the Community Options Cookout on Friday, August 28th. They were having a cookout for the residences and their families. It was a great turnout. They had a dj and Adam was able to show off his line dancing skills. I am the chairman of their Business Advisory Board and we are going to be put on a 5K race in February to raise money for this amazing cause.
