Nicole and Robert's Engagement Party

We had planned to head up to Raleigh last weekend to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Jimmy and Tanya. I was to attend a shower for her on Saturday afternoon and that night a few couples (including us) planned an engagement party for them. Invitations had been sent out and everything was ready to go. Everything but the weather decided to cooperate. That weekend Raleigh had a lot of snow and it just was not a good idea for us to drive up there in the peak of the storm. Since we decided to stay at the last minute we were able to go to The Melting Pot with Ed and Cyndi. Ed had never been there before and I was very excited about him enjoying one of my favorite place to eat. If you have ever eaten there then you know it is quite a process. We did not get finished eating until about 11:30pm but we headed over to Jason Richardson's house anyways. Jason and Ley were throwing Nicole Barr and Robert Cranford an engagement party. Originially, I had told the hosts that we would not be able to attend but since things worked out at the last minute we were able to go. It was great to celebrate with them (and boy did they celebrate). We stayed over there until about 4:30 in the morning. These were the few pictures that were suitable to post!
