Mr. and Ms. Jimmy and Tanya Largen (04-24-10)

On April 23, Adam and I loaded the car up and headed up to Raleigh to celebrate the wedding of Jimmy Largen and Tanya Baker. Adam met Jimmy his freshman year at NC State. They pledged the same fraternity and then decided to room together. Jimmy is a great friend. After Adam finished his senior year at State, he and Jimmy traveled around Europe together. Jimmy was then blessed by meeting Tanya. She has such a bubbly personalities and is always willing to lend a helping hand. It has been a pleasure to watch their relationship grow.

For a long time, Adam and I have been the only one's married out of his friends from Raleigh. It will be nice having another married couple in the mix.

The rehearsal dinner was at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn. It was honestly the most beautiful rehearsal dinner venue I have ever been to. If I could have transported this location to Columbia for our wedding I would have done it in a second. The picture below doesn't do it an ounce of justice it was so much prettier in person. Apparently there is a tradition in the Largen Family that the groom wears a specific pair of boxer on their wedding day. Largen is the 4th groom to wear them. They are contained in a wooden box that reads "A tradition like no other." I know that I am not doing the story justice but it was so funny listening to his uncle explain how the tradition started.

Of course the boxers were clean when he wore them. They were actually sealed in a bag. Once they were cleaned, they were labeled "sanitized for your protection."

The next day, the groomsmen got up early to play golf. Then they quickly got ready for the evenings festivities.

Charlie's First Babysitter...Me! (04-18-10)

Tripp and Hope's 2 year anniversary was April 19. The day before their anniversary they went out to a nice dinner and I was able to watch Charlie for their first evening out since he was born.
He is so cute you truly just want to eat him up.
This is a close up of the onesie he was wearing in case you couldn't see it clearly.

The Nuptuals of Robert and Nicole Cranford (04-17-10)

On April 17, 2010 we headed to The Millstone at Adam's Pond off of Bluff Road to celebrate the wedding of Robert Cranford and Nicole Barr. This wedding was especially special as I introduced them back when we were 16! They started dating and became high school sweethearts even attending both junior and senior proms together. They have been dating on and off for a decade and are FINALLY taking the leap to forever. Everyone was so excited to share in this special day as we have watched their love grow for such a long time.

They had a private ceremony with only immediate family present and then arrived at the reception by horse and buggy...
They arrived in style...

Out and About (04-17)

Random picture of us enjoying the start of the weekend at Wild Wings after a LONG week!

Gracie stays the night (04-10)

We had the privilege of keeping Grace overnight on 04-10-10 in order for her parents to get some alone/rest time before the upcoming arrival of a new baby. If you have met Grace she goes a hundred miles a minute so I am sure it was definately needed. The next morning we got up and got ready to go to church.

Grace loves music. One of her favorite things to do at our house is to play/bang on the piano. I had two pianos in my house growing up so I don't mind the lovely music/noise that she makes. This could also be because I do not have to listen to her serenades on a daily basis. I love this picture...

I took piano lessons for 9 years growing up. Although my skills do not match the amount of lessons I took, I hope to teach Grace a song or two when she gets older.
Grace wakes up a lot earlier than we normally do on church mornings so we had plenty of time for a photoshoot.
A movie star in the making...

Too Cool for Words...
Here is another video of her singing on the way to church. I think it is so great to capture these moments as they change so fast!
