Easter Celebration! (04-04)

Easter started out by heading to church to focus on the reason we celebrate this special occasion. We then headed over to my parents house for lunch. After lunch we went over to the Parrish's for an Easter Egg hunt!

Grace was a lot more into it this year than she was last year which made it more fun.

The weather was beautiful other than the extreme amount of pollen that comes to visit this time of the year.

Charlie's Nursery

Here are some pictures of Charlie's adorable nursery. Charlie is very lucky to have a talented art teacher as an aunt (Taylor) who painted the walls of the nursery to match his bedding.

Charlie sure is one lucky little guy! Not only is his room filled with lots of wonderful things, it is also filled with lots of love.

Introducing...Charles Presley Whitesides IV (03-19)

March 19, 2010...what a day to remember! Here we all are in the waiting room anxious for the arrival of Mr. Charles Presley Whitesides IV.

After a while in labor they decided to give Hope a c-section. She did so great!

We were in the room with them when they brought Charlie in for his new parents to hold for the first time. It was such a sweet moment and a memory I will not soon forget.

Hope's first words were "I worked really hard for you, little guy!"

Charlie was a very healthy 9.23 ounces and 21.5 inches long!

The Last Supper...Charlie Style (03-18-10)

Hope was going to induced on March 19th so we all decided to head to Outback for her last supper as a pregnant woman! Doesn't she just look fabulous? Kelly is expecting a baby on May 12 as well. We have all been so excited about the new additions to the Parrish Clan.

Bubbles and Jets (March 14)

Grace wakes up a lot earlier that we normally do so I had plenty of time to give her a bubble bath before church. She was so cute and really enjoyed herself.

After the bath I had to put her in the shower to actually clean all of the bubbles off.

I thought it would be fun to put her into the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. I thought I had a genious idea to turn the jets on and make billions and billions of bubbles. Well, apparently the water does not displace as much when you put a two year old in the bathtub as it does when I sit in it so the water was not covering all of the jets. I did not even think about it when I turned the jacuzzi on. I videoed me turning them on just to capture the moment but it turned out to be one of the funniest videos I have seen in a long time...

She really is quite a trooper and didnt even freak out. I just kept telling her how cool that was! Needless to say, I have not yet given her another jacuzzi bath as I do not want to evoke a childhood fear of them.

Spend the Night at Tephie's (March 13)

On March 13 Grace came over to spend some time with Uncle Ad-DOM and Aunt Tephie. She had a great time playing upstairs with some new toys that I aquired. The next morning we woke her up and headed to church.
